Once we know you're safe and comfortable, we'll fix your car as quickly as possible – we'll usually get to you in under an hour.
We'll get you going again
Our patrols are well-equipped to fix the majority of breakdowns there and then, so you can get going again quicker. Last year, each of our mechanics went to over 1,100 call-outs up and down the country.
Flat tyre? Our vans carry an innovative 'multi-fit' spare wheel, which fits up to 90% of cars. So even if you don't have a spare — or you have a double puncture — we can get you rolling.
Our mechanics carry spare batteries in their vans, so we can usually replace yours quickly if a recharge won't fix it. If we don't have the right battery with us, we'll nip to the nearest supplier to pick one up and fit it for you.
Even if you need a tow, most of our vans have specialist towing equipment on board, so you don't have to wait for a truck.

Our mechanics get extensive training at a purpose-built AA facility. They're all fully qualified, and our battery technicians have specialist training before they head into the field.
