The little C1 arrived as Citroen’s most compact model when it was launched in 2006 amid a joint venture between the French firm and both Peugeot and Toyota. Designed to be low-cost and cheap to run, the C1 immediately found favour among first-time drivers thanks to this car’s low insurance group, as well as others that needed a cheap, low-cost runabout.
