Equipped with chunky looks but plenty of features that make day-to-day driving a bit easier, the Renegade could be a great option for adventure-ready families after something a little bit different. Despite its more compact size, the Jeep Renegade has been designed to offer a decent level of space. In terms of rivals, it goes up against models like the Volkswagen T-Cross and Mini Countryman, as well as the Fiat 500 X with which it shares a platform.

Over time, the Renegade has been facelifted and changed, with more engine options introduced. As a result, if you’re looking for the most efficient model possible, you may be best served going for a later car.
