The Focus has always been the one to beat if you actually enjoy driving. Because this is the ST-Line X, you’re getting that sportier look and feel, but without the harshness you might expect. It’s finished in Black and has had just two owners from new, and you can really tell it’s been someone’s pride and joy. It’s zippy enough for a bit of fun on the weekend but honestly just a very easy, comfortable car to live with every day. The Comfort Bits: It’s an "X" model, so the interior is a big step up. The part-leather seats are heated, which is a life-saver in the winter, and it’s got Ford’s famous "Quickclear" windscreen—if you’ve never had one, it basically melts ice in seconds so you’re never stood outside with a scraper. Easy Connections: The big 8-inch screen is really straightforward to use. It’s got built-in Sat Nav, but most people just plug their phone in to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, which mirrors your own maps and Spotify perfectly. No-Stress Parking: Even though it looks quite sharp and sporty, it’s not precious about tight spaces. It’s got front and rear parking sensors, so you’ve got a clear heads-up when you’re squeezing into a supermarket bay. On the Road: You’ve got Cruise Control for the motorway and different drive modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport) if you want to sharpen things up. It’s just a very well-sorted, honest car that does everything you need it to. This Black Focus has clearly been well-looked after by its two previous owners. It’s just arrived and is heading through our valeting bay now, so it’ll be looking its absolute best and ready for a test drive very soon.
